Ijeoma Mbanuzue Perkins, PA-C
Ijeoma Mbanuzue Perkins is a board-certified physician associate. She earned a Masters of Health Science degree from Duke University School of Medicine - Physician Assistant Program. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in African American Studies and a Chemistry minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mrs. Perkins has spent her entire career working in family medicine as her goal is to close the generational gaps in health. Her medical motto is “Educate and Encourage to Prevent.” She has a passion for functional, holistic and lifestyle medicine practices and is intentional about incorporating such measures in the care of her patients. Her other medical interests include preventative medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, and dermatology.

Mrs. Perkins is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Association of Physician Assistants, and the Triangle Area Physician Assistants.
